Information about rescue services<\/strong><\/p>\nOne of our main goals is to build safe cars. The procedure covers measures that contribute to minimizing the effects of an accident. In addition to the well-known protection systems, such as airbags or the highly stable and durable passenger cage, these measures concern a series of technical innovations related to the integrated safety philosophy. <\/p>\n
In 1994, a ‘Guide for Rescue Services’ was published, containing information on specific vehicle functions and safety features as well as means of access. The guide covers several new Mercedes-Benz models as well as safety innovations \u2013 everything from passenger restraints to the KEYLESS-GO electronic authorization system, to new materials and fuel cell\/natural gas powertrains. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

All service data at your disposal<\/strong><\/p>\nSince July 1, 2008, the after-sales system, originally introduced in 2007, is available in 35 European countries for all Mercedes-Benz passenger car model lines. With this system, Mercedes-Benz has extended the proven maintenance documentation method of the E-Class, CLS-Class, SL-Class and SLK-Class to cover the entire range of passenger car models. <\/p>\n
More security: The service data of your Mercedes-Benz is constantly updated and there is no chance of it being lost. Should you happen to lose your digital service book, we have access to your vehicle’s service information at any time for your information. Service data is in good hands – it is protected throughout the life of the vehicle in the central Mercedes-Benz database. <\/p>\n
More convenience: We have access to your vehicle’s service data throughout Europe. In this way, you can be served immediately and professionally wherever you are. We provide you with the certainty that the digital maintenance booklet can continue to be completed without problems even after a change of workshop or during your stay in a foreign country. <\/p>\n

Communication without compromise<\/strong><\/p>\nAll you need for comfort telephony is a Mercedes-Benz audio system (Audio 20, Audio 50 or COMAND), a compatible mobile phone and a cradle, which connects your phone to an external antenna via a fixed interface in the center console . You can then use your phone’s functions through the screen, where both incoming text messages and the call log are displayed. The integrated Bluetooth\u2122 interface enables wireless connection to your compatible mobile phone. If you wish to call someone yourself, you can safely and easily select the person’s name from the control unit. <\/p>\n
