The ergonomic steering wheel knob ensures safe and comfortable one-handed operation of the steering wheel. To maintain the functionality of the airbag, this control and steering aid is fitted below the airbag. The steering wheel knob can be easily removed from its mounting by pressing a button.
The “MFD TOUCH” is a wireless remote control for the high-beam headlights, turn signals, horn and windshield wipers. Fast and easy operation is supported intuitively by the ergonomic button layout. All these functions can be performed without taking your hands off the steering wheel.
Relocating the levers makes operation easier for people with limited use of their left hand. To enable the turn signals, high and low beam headlights, as well as TEMPOMAT, to be operated from the right-hand side, additional mechanical levers are fitted over the original levers.
With the “Classic” control lever, the vehicle accelerates by turning the throttle grip and decelerates by pushing the lever forward. The brake can be locked at the press of a button. The control lever supplements the accelerator and brake pedals, which remain fully usable.
Optimum lever function, easy operation! To accelerate, a light downward pressure on the upper part of the control lever is sufficient. To brake, the entire control arm is pushed forward. This makes full use of the lever force. Naturally, the brake can also be locked. With the “Easy Speed” version, you have one of the most compact levers available. This gives you greater freedom of leg movement throughout the footwell and a wider range of longitudinal adjustment for the driver’s seat.
The high-quality “Multima PRO” control lever offers greater comfort for drivers with disabilities. Pushing it forward decelerates the vehicle, while pulling it backward accelerates. The full length of the lever is used to apply the brake. Alternatively, the standard accelerator and brake pedals remain fully available without restriction. The slim “Multima PRO” lever provides more free space for the legs, while its attractive, functional design allows the driver’s seat to be adjusted further forward.
With the electronic pedal relocation system, an additional accelerator pedal is installed on the left side of the footwell. The accelerator pedal on the right side is retained. Using a switch on the center console, either the left or right accelerator pedal can be activated before each journey – the electronic safety system reliably prevents switching between pedals while driving. This means the inactive accelerator pedal can be pressed without any risk, allowing the footwell to be used to its full extent.
Pedal extension mechanisms make it easier for the driver to reach the pedals – if required, they can be raised by up to 10 centimeters. The pedal extensions are easily fitted over the original pedals and can be conveniently removed again. This means the original pedals remain fully functional.
The pedal cover complements the control levers. It reliably prevents accidental operation of the pedals. If required, the pedal cover can be easily removed so that the original pedals can once again be used freely by friends and family members.
The swiveling, lowering and lifting movements of the new-generation “Turny-Evo” are electrically operated and controlled by remote control. The end position when lowering can be programmed. The “Turny-Evo” carries CE and E markings, has been crash-tested and is approved for a lifting capacity of up to 150 kg.
The entry protection serves two purposes: it protects the sill trim from damage and scratches, while also helping to prevent the driver’s clothing from getting dirty when entering and exiting the vehicle. Thanks to an intelligent folding mechanism, the entry protection can be positioned in the footwell next to the sill and stowed away neatly.
