Maintenance management takes the worry out of pending maintenance work. It detects and notifies you in good time when maintenance is due. In addition, the vehicle transmits all maintenance-related data to your Authorized Mercedes-Benz Repairer so that they can prepare a suitable offer for all necessary work.

Your request for a maintenance appointment can be handled conveniently in the Mercedes me portal. And so that you can find your Authorized Repairer, you can transfer their address directly to your navigation system*.

Support when you really need it.

In the event of an emergency call (automatically or manually via the SOS button), you can be connected, if you wish, to the Customer Assistance Center (CAC). Trained staff help you manage the aftermath of your accident, including measures to recover or tow the vehicle involved.

If you are unable to continue your journey in your Mercedes, Breakdown management provides fast and effective support. By pressing the breakdown button and/or using the address-book entry, a voice connection is established between your vehicle and the Customer Assistance Center. Your location is transmitted automatically and our staff immediately notify the nearest Mercedes-Benz Service24h, which takes over your case – even if you cannot say with certainty exactly where your vehicle is located.

In the event of an accident in which an airbag and/or seat-belt tensioner is activated, the vehicle’s crash sensors automatically trigger an emergency call. Your vehicle’s communication module automatically connects to the Mercedes-Benz emergency call center. The system transmits your exact location and the number of vehicle occupants, as well as information about the condition of your vehicle. In an emergency, the emergency-call data is transferred immediately to a public European emergency call center so that the necessary rescue measures can be initiated as quickly as possible.

With “InScore” you automatically receive a 10% discount on your regular insurance premium. By activating your vehicle for data analysis via the “Mercedes me connect communication module”, your personal driving style, the proportion of journeys during peak hours and the proportion of higher-risk weekend journeys are evaluated and a weighted overall value (“Driver Score”) is calculated. This “Driver Score” is communicated to the insurance company, HDI Versicherung AG. Depending on your “Driver Score” as of 01.09. each year, you can earn an additional 10% discount on your insurance premium on 01.01. of the following year. You can view your personal “Driver Score” at any time in your Mercedes me user account and obtain information about your driving behavior.

Local Search

Dictation

Simple dictation of voice messages integrates seamlessly with the text messaging function. Write an SMS and select the dictation app using the microphone symbol. Speak your message. When voice transmission is complete, the text appears in the app. You can select and correct individual words. Insert the text into the message and send it to the recipient.

Internet radio

While you are on the road, internet radio gives you a new way to listen to more than 100,000 stations from around the world.

Download Point of Interest (POI)

Conveniently plan your route from your smartphone, tablet or computer. Search via Mercedes me for a destination (POI = Point of Interest) or a route and simply send it to your vehicle. With “Download POI” and/or “Accept”, you can transfer saved destinations and routes to the navigation system and start navigation with just a few clicks.

e-Navigator

The Mercedes-Benz App “e-Navigator” shows you the way to the nearest charging station. You always have access to an up-to-date database of available charging stations. Search for a public charging station near you, along your route or at your destination. View details, create your own Favorites or filter charging stations, for example by different plug types. Add the charging station to navigation and set off.

In the B 250 e, you can display your vehicle’s current electric range on a map. Factors such as the elevation profile of the area and the road profile are taken into account in this view.

The Mercedes-Benz App “e-Navigator” is available only for hybrid electric vehicles.

Free-text search for navigation destinations.

Use this service to search online for your favorite navigation destinations (addresses, points of interest, restaurants, etc.). The search is integrated into the destination input of your navigation system. If an internet connection is available, the search can be started either by entering the search string (words, combinations of words and conjunctions) or by voice command. You must first activate the Local Search service in the Mercedes me portal.

Weather.

The current weather on your navigation map.

Use this service to display the weather and temperature on your vehicle’s navigation map. Activate the service in the Mercedes me portal and enable the “Weather” display on your vehicle’s navigation map. You will find these settings in the navigation system options under the submenus “Map content > Weather information”. The default setting provides for displaying the weather. Where available, this view is shown at zoom levels from 5 km to 100 km. An internet connection is required.

Personalized radio.

With the Mercedes me connect Personalized radio service, you can listen to internet radio in your vehicle

Enjoy the benefits of personalized radio and choose from a huge range of radio stations available online. Your music choices are no longer limited to nearby radio stations. Instead, you can select the station you like most from the menu, wherever you are.

To use the service, you must activate the Internet in the vehicle service under “Manage Mercedes me connect > Manage services”. In addition, you need an account with the corresponding data allowance from Vodafone.

Enjoy all your favorite stations without interference.

Digital radio offers enjoyable sound everywhere and at all times, a wide variety of programs, abundant information, more entertainment and many services such as song tagging. For a radio experience that never stops surprising you.

Experience radio in a more personalized, informative and entertaining way: via the digital receiver you receive all terrestrial digital radio programs* (DAB, DAB+) – always with crystal-clear sound and without interference. The receiver automatically selects the frequency with the best reception for your chosen station. If you travel somewhere where digital radio is not available, it automatically switches to analogue reception.

In addition, digital radio offers you more stations, as well as text and images accompanying the program, such as the CD cover or lyrics of the track currently playing.
