We show you, step by step, how to get personal access to your Mercedes-Benz vehicle.
You can collect the Mercedes me Adapter from your Mercedes-Benz Authorized Repairer, who will activate the service and be happy to help you get it up and running.
First, make sure that
- Your vehicle is compatible with the Mercedes me Adapter
- You have a compatible smartphone and
- You have created a personal user account at www.mercedes.me.

Your vehicle has been successfully created and you can use all the functions of the Mercedes me Adapter.
Place the “Addendum to your vehicle Owner’s Manual” insert in your vehicle’s Owner’s Manual.

Do you want to restart your Mercedes me Adapter (e.g. after maintenance)? Then proceed as follows:

The Mercedes me Adapter is designed to be permanently attached to the corresponding diagnostic connector and should remain connected to it.
Use a cloth moistened with water for cleaning, because in case of contact with liquids there is a risk of short circuit.
Smartphones with “Jailbreak” (unauthorized removal of usage restrictions of smartphone manufacturers’ mobile operating systems) are not supported and are generally blocked from use.
