MO

MOE

MOE tires provide a high level of safety and, in the event of damage, allow you to continue driving for up to an additional 80 kilometres at a maximum speed of 80 km/h.

Tread depth on wet roads. The ultimate test for MO tires.

Tread depth has a significant effect on a tire’s grip on wet roads. How safe can a worn tire be during emergency braking? We went to a wet test track to conduct a test with 3 identical A-Class vehicles and three different MO tire tread depths. The vehicles braked from 80 km/h to a complete stop. The result showed that the shallower the tread depth, meaning the more worn the tires, the greater the stopping distance.
